To have automated attendant answer lines: Press feat 982, enter your password operator.

You will now answer a series of questions. Answer them according to your specific situation.

Attendant avail? usually at night or closed will be "N"., 

Business open? usually if you are leaving for the night the answer would be "N".

Answer Lines?if you want the attendant to pick up your calls answer "Y".

Atdt enter the extension number of the attendant phone.

That's it! Don't forget to enter the same menu in the morning to reset the attendant for the Business open option.

 

Changing a system greeting: Press feat 983,  enter your log password (if you need further help – contact us)

Press the  softkey under AA

Press the  softkey under GRT

Again Press the  softkey under GRT

Enter the  greeting number and then press the softkey under OK

Look at the softkeys.  You can PLAY or REC the greeting.  Make sure after you record the greeting you press the OK button to accept the changed recording.

That's it. 

By the way, If you want to change a CCR (custom call routing) tree you need to call for a service visit.  Sorry but those are a little too complex to describe over the phone.

Resetting a password: Press feat 983,

Enter your log password

Press the  softkey under MBOX

Enter the mailbox extension #

On the left hand side of your screen you will see the words Password and below it RESET, Press the softkey RESET to change the password back to 0000.  Press NEXT next all the way through the rest of the prompts.

 

To add, change or delete a mailbox: Press feat 983,

Enter your log password

Press the  softkey under MBOX

The prompts you  can choose are ADD - DEL -  CHNG

Enter the  mailbox extension

You're on your own now - it's easy!

 

Some voicemail tips:

·         Whenever you get a new employee delete the old mailbox and build a new one, don't just change the name.

·         You can request your system to be connected to your network so that all these changes, and more, can be done through a web browser on your PC, making changes a lot easier and faster!

·         You can record a call through your voicemail by pressing Feat 989 while on the call.  This will record the call and deposit in your mailbox as a message.
